Club Classes

We sail a wide variety of boats on Loch Lomond, ranging from cruiser keelboats to an 18ft skiff. We have many active Wayfarer and Laser sailors and also have emerging Contender and the Olympic class, 49er, fleets. We have the largest Achilles and Flying Fifteen fleets in Scotland and, as such, these fleets have their own class starts. Courses

Links to the LLSC course charts for the current season are below. There are two types of race sailed at LLSC on a typical weekend - 'round the cans', termed 'Points Races', and 'round the Islands', termed 'Islands Races'. The Achilles and Cruisers have one of each type, one each day, whereas the dinghies and Flying Fifteens have one 'Islands Race' on one day, and three 'Points Races' on the other.
