The Loch Lomond Achilles fleet is probably the biggest in the UK with 19 boats regularly competing. Visitors are encouraged to attend our Trophy weekend and race for the end of season cup.

The fleet itself is very competitive and comprises of both solo sailors (who regularly win races), teams of sailors (some of whom have sailed together for decades), and a mixture of skipper and friends who are just out for the day to have a go at finding out more about what’s involved in sailing.

While the fleet is competitive, this is not the main priority of many sailors who simply come to enjoy the crack, the great sailing season and the fantastic views that you can only get from the water.
