Algae

I presume the algae issue has largely passed, given the statement

“Cooler, windy weather or increased flow may reduce or prevent blooms from occurring”

Blue Green Algae

Blue Green algae has been in the news lately, apparently an effect of the recent spell of good weather

I understand it is affecting the east side of the loch, so might be an issue for LLSC

I’m not sure where to get up to date information, perhaps the National Park office at Millarochy

More details from West Dumbartonshire Council (new window), or Daily Record article (new window)

Rota is available again, following revisions.

Take a gander, and if you need to swap, get it sorted out with someone from another weekend, and inform Alastair
